The IV edition of Foto/Industria presents celebrated names in the history of photography, whose images now form part of a shared iconic heritage, great contemporary artists and young internationally established photographers, showcasing techniques ranging from the purest and most traditional uses of photography to the most innovative experimentation.

The catalogue offers a wide selection of photographs included in the Foto/Industria 2019 exhibitions, dedicated to Yosuke Bandai, Lisetta Carmi, David Claerbout, Matthieu Gafsou, Luigi Ghirri, Délio Jasse, André Kertész, Armin Linke, Albert Renger-Patzsch, Stephanie Syjuco, e ai protagonisti di “Anthropocene” Edward Burtynsky, Jennifer Baichwal e Nicholas de Pencier.
Articulated in 12 monographic booklets, the book provides the reader an overview of the fourth edition of the Biennial conceived by the MAST Foundation, representing an important tool to discover the most original and challenging projects of great masters and younger talents focusing the topic of the technosphere.
Foto/Industria 2019 publication is curated by the artistic director of the Biennial Francesco Zanot and includes texs by authors and curators of the exhibitions in this fourth edition of the Biennial as well visualizations of the display projects by Francesco Librizzi, who has sketched on the pages the architecture concept underpinning each exhibition.
The “limited edition” booklet of every single artist is also available for 5 euro in each exhibiton venue.
